| 3:12 pm | Susan Pevensie- The Chronicles of Narnia Player Information Name: Juliet Age: 29 Messenger handles?: Red Shoe Juliet E-mail: slayer203@yahoo.com Standard Time: CST Was Your Character Held: Yes Character Information Name: Susan Pevensie Date of Birth/Age: 18/ 1928 (the movies never said for sure) Fandom: The Chronicles of Narnia Point in fandom taken from: Post Prince Caspian (the movie) Background: Her entry point is post the events of the film for Prince Caspain (so her character history is focused on the events of the first 2 books/movies). In The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (book and film), Susan is given a bow and arrows by Father Christmas (aka Santa), together with a magical horn which, when blown, brings aid. Susan shows her talents at archery, but is advised to stay out of the battle. Together with younger sister Lucy, she witnesses Aslan's death and resurrection on the Stone Table. After the battle, she is crowned as Queen of Narnia by Aslan, and shares the monarchy with her brothers and sister. She later becomes known as Queen Susan the Gentle. The period of their reign is known as the Golden Age of Narnia. Throughout the book and film, Susan is the voice of caution and common sense. Even at the end, after a number of years in Narnia, she counsels against pursuing the White Stag out of fear to the upset to the established order she and her siblings all sense the pursuit might bring. Her magic horn plays an vital part in the events of Prince Caspian. The horn is an ancient relic given to the future King Caspian X by his tutor, Doctor Cornelius. When the Prince's life is threatened by King Miraz the Usurper, Caspian blows the horn and the Pevensies are magically transferred to Narnia from a railway station in England. Using the bow and arrows she has retrieved from the ruins of Cair Paravel, Susan proves her legendary prowess at archery by defeating Trumpkin the dwarf in a friendly contest of skill. She denounces Lucy's ongoing belief in the presence of Aslan although she later admits to having known deep down that it was true (since she had "listened to fears" instead of trusing). But Aslan's breath soon restores her faith and she throws herself in their adventures as deeply as in the first book/film. She later accompanies Lucy as Aslan revives the forest and river spirits of Narnia (which ends the battle after the brudge is washed out in the film). She is much more involved in the actual battle compared to the first film and is in charge of her own corp of archers. She is later seen fighting alongside the rest of the Narnians, stabbing and slashing Telmarines with her arrows between rounds of shooting. She also shares a kiss with Caspian at the end of the film (and still has feelings for him even now). After the events of the film she and Peter confess they would not be able to return to Narnia and leave Caspian as the true King. But what will being dumped into present day mean for this young queen? | 1:46 am | After the holidays I am offically going to university. I figured I might as well make the best of being trapped in a period of time not my own. As for work I have accepted a short term position at a shooting range teaching archery. Otherwise I figured it would bide me some time to find something a little more stable. *filtered against baddies* I wish I could talk to someone... I am getting a very odd vibe about one of the professors at the university. This term I am auditing a class and it was like I could feel something was quite amiss. Not many would understand but then I don't really talk about the White Witch either. *end filter* |

| 5:31 pm | This place is just too curios for words! I'm learning so much between classes and working about this period and well this is nothing like my actual time. As for work given things at the Black Pearl I have accepted a short term position with a small pub, same duties and such. At least after the holidays I can start classes and look for a more stable position. For now its just more of the same: classes (auditing two history courses) and working. *filtered from villians* I am getting a strange vibe about one professior... |

| 12:58 am | Filtered Against Baddies After all the recent darkness I moved my bow and arrows within reach, being on the school team is not a bad thing in this case. But for now between classes and the Black Pearl I have been keeping busy, maybe that is all I need for now. Even have a few regular customers that order the same thing, turns out some others from England are among the locals and seem to like my accent. |

| 10:43 pm | School and The Black Pearl are my links to a semi normal life right now. After everything that has happened I've had to face a few memories unique to being pulled from a much different time period but I'm doing as well as can be. Just wish there was something I could do beyond trying to bring a little light via my job. I mean I let people forget if only for a little while and I especially try to speak with those my own age but tis like I know I can be more useful somehow. At least on the living end of things I actually like the people I live with (I still have not gotten to meet Peter or the most recent arrival). Just wish there was someone I could turn to about a few things.... |

I am not a student of his but he is in my program (history) and what I felt about that other strange person happened again, times about 10 this time around. Can we talk soon? |

| 12:54 am | Flitered Against Jareth That nut in the park has to somehow be linked to the White Witch!!! I saw her die at least twice but this just feels too much like her at the same time. At least he has no idea Narnia is out there, wish I could warn Caspian somehow! I really wish my brothers, sister and Caspian were here. They could help somehow and I wish I could speak to Aslan. But on a happier note I start at the Black Pearl soon as a waitress, part time due to school but I am feeling quite useful again. Plus Captain Sparrow is like me, stranded in a time not our own. Miss Noble: My suspections are massive now, that nut from the park spoke to me yesterday. I had stopped in the park for a treat from one of the carts and to work on my research when he just came up to me. Passed the notes off as a school project but he saw my bow and arrows. Can we talk soon? Is there anyone else that was pulled here from the 1940's or around the time of World War 2 by chance? |

| 1:08 pm | What a difference just a few days can make! I may still be trying to understand this period but I am not alone since finding Captain Sparrow is in the same place as me (a pirate of all things!). But I am just going to make the best of all this and just go about life. After all I will be starting at the Black Pearl next week as a waitress and going to school after the holidays (but I was able to get into one class this late in the term due to something called a mini mester?). But for now its off to the library, I have a lot to learn before working. Note to self: find clothing proper for this period of time. |
